In the book of Acts, we see man praying for Peter, who was in prison for preaching about Jesus. An angel visited Peter in jail. His chains fell off and they—Peter and the angel—miraculously walked past every guard in the prison on their way out.
The people who had been praying for his release couldn’t believe what God did—even though it was exactly what they had been praying for. They, like you and me, had doubts. But that didn’t keep them from praying. So what should you do with your doubts, fears, and questions?

There are so many times in the waiting where it can almost feel like you’ve run out of things to say to God.
You’ve prayed the same prayers over and over, and still, there seems to be no change. It’s easy to feel discouraged, wondering if your prayers are even being heard. In these moments of silence and uncertainty, it can be comforting to remember that we are not alone in our struggles.

When we don’t have the words, the Holy Spirit is praying on our behalf. The Spirit understands our deepest needs and desires, even those we can’t articulate. When our own words fall short, the Spirit steps in, expressing the inexpressible with groans that communicate directly with God.

You know the challenges I face and the burdens that weigh me down. I ask for Your divine intervention and guidance. Open doors that seem impossible to open, and make a way where there seems to be no way.
