There is no doubt that there’s a blessing when you follow Jesus. But there is also a cost to following Him.
“Leave your country, your people and your family’s household and go to the land I will show you….and I will bless you… Genesis 12:1-2
God invited Abraham into a journey ….he promised a blessing. But it also came at a cost. To follow God required faith and a “letting go.” He had to leave everything familiar and step into the unknown.
Perhaps God is inviting you into something as well. It may feel like a letting go. Or stepping into the unknown. You can trust Him, even when you can’t see the plan. It may cost you something. But following His lead and His Word is where we find the blessings of God. Are you ready to let go and follow? -Sandi
