“I know your hard work, your perseverance…you’ve endured hardships…and you’ve not grown weary…But you’ve walked away from your first love.” Revelation 2:2-4
There is both comfort and conviction in those words.
You don’t have to earn God’s love. Your hard work…your good work…isn’t what matters most.
Your love relationship with God. Your heart, in sync with His heart, that’s the key.
He loves you. He desires your heart more than your words or actions. And He wants to be your first love. What comfort. What a challenge.
