Frustrated with God. Do you ever get there? I do. And most of the time that I’m frustrated with God, I’m holding on to what I want rather than trusting what He has in mind.
“You do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” Mark 8:33
When my way doesn’t line up with God’s way, it can be frustrating. Probably for us and for Him. 😊
Jesus spoke those challenging words to someone that He loved. One of his faithful followers. Which means we’re all capable of getting sideways with Jesus. I’m realizing that even my well-intended thoughts and strong convictions don’t always line up with God’s plan. And when they’re not, I have a choice to make: to rely on myself or trust Him.
Let’s hold our ideas and plans loosely. And cling to his trustworthy Word. He is faithful. – Sandi
