You’re not a bad person or “less than” Christian when you get weary and need help. You’re human. God understands. And He has an invitation for you.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” Matthew 11:28-29
God made you. He understands your limitations. He also responds when you recognize your need for Him.
When you’re overwhelmed and carrying the weight of the word, He doesn’t condemn you. He invites you. He moves toward you and offers what you need most: rest and peace.
If you’re carrying something heavy, you weren’t designed to carry it alone. Reach out to God. Take a step toward Him and receive rest for your soul. – Sandi
