Emotions are real. But they aren’t always truthful. There are times when God feels a million miles away. Prayers seem to bounce off the ceiling. Hope seems so elusive. That’s what we FEEL. But here is what is TRUE:
“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and His ears are attentive to their cry. …The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34: 15,18
God sees you. He hears you. He is close to you. And He responds to your brokenness by comforting you and putting you back together.
I don’t know when your season of suffering will end. But I do know that the Lord is close to you. He cares. He comforts. He saves those who are crushed in spirit. – Sandi
