I have no idea what God’s voice sounds like. I’ve never heard Him speak. At times, I wish He spoke audibly to me…..so I wouldn’t miss what He’s saying. But here’s a two-fold promise from God’s Word…..He does speak. And He allows you to recognize what He’s saying.
“He calls His sheep by name and leads them.
His sheep follow because they know His voice.”
John 10:3-4
I still struggle with knowing if it is God or me or the enemy that I’m hearing…. But when I spend time in God’s Word and in prayer, I get more clarity to recognize His voice. His Truth.
I want to encourage you today to invite God to speak to you. Then spend time in His Word and spend time listening. Over time, you will begin to recognize the Truth of God’s voice. He promises to speak and He promises that we can recognize Him.
