In His Presence, You Will Find The Only Relationship That Will Fill Your Hungry Soul

An honest confession: At times, I seek God’s hand more than His heart. I desire His provision more than His presence. When my heart gets to that place, this is a go to passage for me:

“Moses said to God, ‘If your Presence doesn’t go with us, don’t send us from here.’ … And the Lord said, ‘I am pleased with you and I know you by name.’” Exodus 33:15,17

Relationship. Moses valued God’s presence more than an outcome. The intimacy in their relationship is evident. Moses wanted to stay close to His Father. He wasn’t chasing an outcome or personal benefit. He desired God’s presence more than anything. It was enough for Moses. And I pray it will be enough for our restless hearts as well.

In His presence, you are known. In His presence, you find peace and joy. And in His presence, you find the only relationship that will fill our hungry soul. – Sandi
