Why Pray for Protection?

God, I come to You feeling overwhelmed by thoughts I can’t always control. Fear, anxiety, and worry try to take over, but I know You are greater. I ask for Your protection over my thoughts. Help me to reject lies and hold on to Your truth. Guard my mind like a helmet—covering me with peace that doesn’t make sense to the world. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
