When you’re suffering, God’s heart hurts with you. He not only loves you, but He is also moved by your pain.
“Jesus wept.” John 11:25
One of Jesus’ friends had died. Others were mourning. Scripture says that Jesus was “deeply moved and troubled,” and He cried.
If your heart is breaking today, so is God’s. If it hurts too bad to even pray or the ache is so heavy you can feel it, so does God. He feels for you in a very real way.
You are not alone. God sees you. And He feels the weight of your struggles. He sits with you in the pit and He’s also working on your behalf, because He is faithful. – Sandi
