Why do you worry? For me, I think worry is rooted in a lack of trust. And I want to grow out of my worry!
“Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in Him.” Jeremiah 17:7
Isn’t it funny that we can confidently believe that God created the world, yet still worry about what we’re facing today? We see evidence of God’s faithfulness through scripture, but still worry if He will come through for us?
Worry says, “What if?”
Trust says, “God is faithful.”
Where will you place your confidence and trust today? Will worry or trust win the war in your mind? Your Father is trustworthy. He knows it all and promises to work it all out for your good.
Beyond that, this verse promises a blessing when you trust God. Perhaps the blessing looks like peace and joy. Whatever the blessing is, I want it more than worry. Place your confidence in Jesus. And experience His blessing in your life – Sandi
