What does your life look like when Jesus takes the lead?
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22
How does that list sit with you? I want more peace. I desire more joy and patience…I want more of everything on that list. But no matter how hard I try, I can’t muster up all of that goodness on my own.
When the Holy Spirit is working in your life, it shows. He doesn’t leave you unchanged. He chips away at our gunk and replaces it with His goodness.
Your thoughts and actions begin to look more like faithfulness, kindness and gentleness and all of the other characteristics of His nature.
A byproduct of spending more time with Jesus and in His Word is…you become more like Him. And the world sees a loving Savior through you.– Sandi
