Fear is both illogical and real. Even when my mind knows that God is bigger than anything I may face, fear convinces me otherwise. If your mind knows that God is with you, but fear is telling you that He is a million miles away, this reminder is for you:
“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore, we will not fear…The Lord Almighty is with us.”
Psalm 46: 1-2,7
If fear is whispering in your ear today, you can clap back with Truth. God is greater than anything you’re facing. He is strong. Unequalled in power and authority. And He is close. Even when you feel overwhelmed and outnumbered.
If all of that is true, fear has no ground to stand on. You can confidently rest knowing that you are in His trustworthy care. Fear may continue to whisper. But may the Truth win the battle in your mind and heart today. – Sandi
