At Stephen Ministries St. Louis, we’re all about building a more caring world.
We’re a nonprofit Christian educational organization that has been equipping people for half a century to care and relate with excellence.
We’re best known for Stephen Ministry, our lay caring ministry system used in over 14,000 churches from over 190 Christian faith traditions around the world. We also produce books, courses, and other resources on topics such as grief, empathy, caring for those who are hurting, assertive relating, and leadership.
A major new emphasis for Stephen Ministries is working with Christian congregations to help them combat the mental health crisis, by empowering the mental health of everyone by teaching interpersonal and coping life skills.
Our training and resources are used by individuals, churches, schools, businesses, hospitals, and other organizations worldwide, making a difference in millions of lives.

Both full- and part-time opportunities are available in a variety of areas, including writing and editing, communications and marketing, adult education, ministry support, market research, public support and development, graphic design, videography, information technology, and accounting and purchasing. All positions are in-office at the Stephen Ministries Center in St. Louis.
