Where is God when you’re suffering? Does He hear you when you cry? Does He care? Those are honest questions. I wrestle with them myself. But I cling to this Truth:
“I have seen the misery of my people…I have heard them crying out…and I am concerned about their suffering. So, I have come to rescue them…”
Exodus 3:7-8
A glimpse of God’s heart. He sees you. He hears your cries. His heart hurts with and for you.
God is not only moved by your pain…but He moves in close, especially when you’re hurting. He is close to the brokenhearted.
Jesus is close. To you. Today. May His presence bring comfort that can’t be explained away. May His Spirit infuse hope into your mind and heart. And may you cling to the One who not only came to rescue you but stays close during the heartache.
