“You go. And I will work.” I wrote that in the margin of my Bible. I was reading about Moses, and it just hit me…I struggle with some of the same things that he did! Maybe you do as well.
Moses loved God but felt inadequate to be used by Him. So, God gave him both an invitation and a promise:
“Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.” Exodus 4:12
I love how caring and trustworthy God is. He gave both an invitation and a promise:
The invitation to go. To follow God’s lead and take a step of faith.
And a promise to provide. To work in ways that only He can.
God is still inviting and promising today. He wants you to know that you can trust His lead. You can take a step toward Him and with Him. Because He is faithful. He does the work IN you and THROUGH you.
