If you have doubts about Jesus… you’re not alone. And you’re not a bad Christian. But what do you do with your doubts? Maybe the question is, what does Jesus do with your doubts?
“Put your finger here; see my hands.
Reach out your hand and put it into my side.
Stop doubting and believe.”
John 20:27
Jesus had died. And the disciples were behind locked doors because they were afraid. I can’t even imagine their doubts and disappointment.
Jesus not only rose from the dead, but He tended to their doubts. He moved in close. Reminded them of His sacrifice. And lovingly invited them to exchange their doubts for belief. Perhaps Jesus is doing the same for you today.
The more time I spend with Jesus, the more my doubts subside. His love is greater.
If you’re wrestling with disappointment or doubt, Jesus understands. He’s close. Ask for His help. Spend some time in His Word. See, anew, His love and sacrifice for you. And believe. -Sandi
