One of the reasons that Jesus says, “Follow me” is because He is always going before you. He walks ahead. He clears the path and makes a way.
“…The Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them…
and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light so that they could travel by day or night.” Exodus 13:21
God goes before you. And He shows you the way. Always. During the day, when you think you can see ahead. And at night, when He is your only light.
If you can’t see a way forward, He does.
If you don’t know which way to turn, He does.
He promises to go before you. To guide you. To shine a light into dark places.
