What is just ahead of you that has you anxious or worried? Would it help to know that God is already there?
“Don’t be afraid…the Lord your God, who is going before you, will fight for you…” Deuteronomy 1:29-30
The unknown can be unsettling. When you can’t see the outcome, it is easy to land on worst-case scenarios. Anxious thoughts come. Worry settles in.
But maybe it’s helpful to remember that God goes before you. So every step you take today is already known to Him. He’s already there. And He’s fighting the battle with and for you.
Your future may be unknown to you. But not to God. He’s writing your story. And He’s in your story…the past, the now, and the unknowns.
So, you don’t have to be afraid. Trust the One who goes before you. He’s faithfully fighting on your behalf.- Sandi
