Do you remember the “you before Jesus?” The path you were on? How God revealed Himself to you? If your life is anything like mine, I remember. Because I desperately needed Him. And still do.
“Be careful that you don’t forget the Lord, who brought you out of…slavery” Deuteronomy 6:12
For God’s people in this story, it was slavery. God brought them out of physical bondage. But what is it for you? What has the Lord rescued you from? Where would you be without God’s grace?
It’s so good to remember what God has already done in your life. And it’s good to thank Him because worship fosters a tender heart toward God. And it fuels your faith…it stirs up confidence that if He was faithful before, He will see you through again.
Be careful that you don’t forget the Lord and all that He’s brought you through. Remember, worship and believe. – Sandi
