National Salvation Army Week | Monday, May 11th – Sunday, May 17th
The Salvation Army is celebrating National Salvation Army Week to recognize and bring awareness to the essential programs and services available for those in need. Each year, National Salvation Army Week serves as an opportunity to celebrate our volunteers, donors and program beneficiaries who have enabled us to serve those in need around the world for 154 years.
You see the red kettles at Christmas time, but The Salvation Army is actively serving our community each and every day of the year. Showing up every day, meeting people right where they are: areas like helping a family find stability; walking with someone ready for a fresh start; being there in a crisis; or even simple reminders that you are not alone.
