Was there a time in your life when you were running away from God? Or maybe ignoring His plan for your life? Me too. But what does it look like to run TO God?
“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” Proverbs 18:10
I don’t know fully what this verse means, but I know what it means to me. I don’t want to run away from God. In big or seemingly small ways.
In every thought and motive, … In every way I know, I want to run to Him. And anything that tries to distract me from Jesus, I want to call it out and move past it. Why? Because He is our safe place.
He is where peace is found. He is our only hope and I want Him to be my Father and protector when the world feels out of control.
I may stumble or fall. But when I’m running TO Him, at least I’m falling forward. God, you are our source of strength. We run to you and we trust you! – Sandi
