A few years ago I was sharing with my daughter about a struggle I was navigating through. It felt like an intense spiritual battle. She said, “Mom, the enemy can’t hurt you. God’s protection is greater. So, he simply tries to scare you.”
“They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies. Not a hair of their heads singed…
and there was no smell of fire on them.” Daniel 3:27
Three men were thrown in a furnace because of their faith in God. They felt the heat. But they came out unharmed and unsinged. Why? Because God’s protection is greater than the enemy’s schemes. The enemy seeks to harm. But God is faithful to protect.
If you’re feeling the heat today, God is in the fire with you. You may not understand the “why” or know the “when” you’ll see His rescue plan in motion. But the enemy doesn’t get the last word. He tries to disrupt and discourage. But He can’t thwart God’s plan for your life.
God is with you in the fire. And you can trust His faithful care over your life. – Sandi
