What can God do with a little teddy bear and the reminder that He is close? A lot!
Right now, every time a child has an unexpected stay in the Mercy Hospital Children’s ER, they are given a “prayer bear” from JOY FM and a devotional for their parents.
These small items serve as a big reminder that even when life feels scary…God is in control.

God’s Just Getting Started!
Since sharing about this initiative on JOY FM, more doors keep opening to share hope with the hurting:
Like the opportunity to give a “prayer bear” to every child at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and to over 1,000 kids in foster care in Missouri and Illinois. And local police officers have reached out asking for “prayer bears” that they can give to kids and families in crisis…
We have been asked to share over 2500 prayer bears in the coming months alone!
What a God-sized opportunity to love on the hurting in our city!
