Have you ever seen a strong-willed toddler try to tackle something that’s clearly beyond their ability? We’ve all been there…and done that. I wonder how many times we still do? We try to do this “life thing” on our own instead of reaching out for help?
“…You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…” Acts 1:8
If life, at times or maybe even right now, feels too heavy, it very well may be. But the answer isn’t “toddler tackling” the tough stuff. It’s realizing that you have a power source that can handle everything you’re facing. You may not have the strength…But you don’t have to!
When Jesus was inviting his disciples to share the gospel with the world…He knew they couldn’t do it on their own. So, He reminded them….and us…that the power needed comes from the Holy Spirit.
Life gets heavy. And complicated. But God doesn’t leave you powerless. Or overwhelmed. His Spirit lives within you. His power is available to you.
Call upon Jesus for help. Surrender control over to Him. And receive the promised power of the Holy Spirit. In your life. Through your life. For His glory.
