Keys. Glasses. Passwords. And God. What do they have in common? I tend to forget them.
I don’t intentionally forget God. But I do need to remember who He really is. Because the urgency of today tends to overshadow the authority of God all too often in my mind.
“Be careful that you don not forget the Lord, who brough you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.” Deuteronomy 6:12
God freed them. Fed them. Parted the sea for them. Defeated every enemy. And they, too, were prone to forget.
I can relate.
Maybe your heart needs to pause today and remember the God who freed you. His provision in your life. The victories. His grace. His faithfulness.
Don’t forget the Lord. He is all powerful, still. And He walks with you, still. – Sandi
