There is something powerful about being prayed for. Maybe you’ve experienced it too. A friend or pastor puts their hand on your shoulder, closes their eyes, and pours out a prayer on your behalf. If you can picture that, just imagine the power in this verse:
“We don’t know what to pray, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words can’t express.” Romans 8:26
When you’re at a loss for words and maybe even a loss of faith, Jesus prays for you. He stands in the gap on your behalf. He speaks directly to Father God in a language that we can’t yet understand.
Which means you are never alone. And you are never without a prayer covering. What do you do with that reality? You rest in His care. You draw peace from His presence. And when you’re able, you thank Him for always pleading to the Father on your behalf.
God listens. When you pray. When you can’t. – Sandi
