Faith and Surrender. I find that they don’t always go hand in hand in my life. My belief in God is unchanging. But the degree of surrender…the influence or control that I allow Him to have… can, sadly, waver.
“He must become greater; I must become less.” John 3:30
Daily. Struggle.
For me, it is a constant battle to allow Jesus to shape me. To surrender what I want. To allow His voice and will to be greater in my life than my own. To lay down my pride and self-centeredness. To trust that His way is better than mine. To follow when I can’t see fully.
That is what it looks like to become less. And to allow Him to become greater.
May we take one step closer to Jesus becoming greater in our lives. – Sandi
