Just Because It’s Loud Doesn’t Mean It Is True

Just Because It’s Loud Doesn’t Mean It Is True

Who’s voice is the most influential one in your life? Fear? Worry? Just because a message is loud, doesn’t mean it is true.

“You come against me with sword, spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty…” 1 Samuel 17:45

When David stood before the giant, there were words thrown before the stones were launched. I’m sure the giant’s words were loud and intimidating.  But David wasn’t swayed by the “large” or the “loud.”  He knew the truth. He listened to God’s promise more than the giant’s voice. And victory followed.

You will probably hear untruths today that seem really loud and convincing. You may even speak some of them to yourself. But if the message doesn’t line up with God’s word, stand on His truth instead.  Keep believing the promises of God. Give ear to your Father and speak truth to the lying giants. – Sandi
