Life Is Hard. Yet I Will Rejoice In The Lord.

Life Is Hard. Yet I Will Rejoice In The Lord.

It is one of the most powerful 3-letter words:  Yet

There’s a passage in Habakkuk that paints an intense, gloomy picture: no food, no cattle…simply great needs. On the outside, it looks like a dire situation. But the writer responds:

“….Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in the God of my salvation.”  Habakkuk 3:17-18.

What would cause someone in great physical need to be joyful? An understanding of their situation, in light of their God.

I want to have a “yet will I rejoice” mindset.  I want a faith and worship that celebrates who God is beyond what He does for me.

What would it look like to praise Him anyway today? To find joy in the Jesus who saved you. And to trust the heart of your Father, who loves you.
