Making peace isn’t easy. But neither is division.
“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.” Psalm 133:1
Unity doesn’t just happen…on the world stage, in our city or in our families. There isn’t an “easy” road to peace. But God loves unity. So, what is one good thing that He is calling you to do that can usher in some unity? What active part in making peace is He inviting you into today?
When you encounter someone who rubs you the wrong way today (and you likely will), what if your first thought… or maybe your God-infused thought is to make peace? It may feel good to “fight to be right.” But God says it better…good and pleasant when we fight for unity. It feels less like fighting and more like peace. – Sandi
