There is an ache in your soul when you feel alone. And it can happen in a crowded room or when you’re by yourself. If you’re struggling with loneliness, your Father has a reminder for you:
“…I will not leave you…I will come to you.” John 14:18
Jesus was talking with his closest friends. He was preparing them…. For the cross. For the doubts and confusion ahead. He knew they would feel alone. So, He made them…and you… a promise:
You are never alone. Even though you can’t see Jesus, His Spirit lives in you. He walks through this life with you.
What a promise. He never leaves.
