Last week, a listener shared that she fears she’s losing hope. She’s been praying and hoping for 13 years for an outcome that hasn’t happened yet. I could hear the pain and exhaustion as she shared.
Can you relate? On any given day, I can. What do you do when you love God but feel like your hope is leaking?
“May the God of hope fill you with joy and peace as you trust Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
God isn’t mad at you when you get weary. Instead, He offers Himself. He is the God of hope. When you place your confidence in Him, He renews and refills your hope.
If you’ve stopped praying or stopped hoping, God wants you to know that He has peace for you today. A steady sense of confidence, not rooted in outcomes, but rooted in your faithful Father.
May the God of all hope so fill you with His Spirit that you move from empty to overflow today. – Sandi
