Worried. Weary. Weak and overwhelmed. Do any of those sound familiar? If so, what do you do about it?
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak… Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength…” Isaiah 40:29,31
There is a kind of strength that doesn’t come from your own striving. It comes from surrendering.
Some of my worry and overwhelm comes from trying to control and carry things that I shouldn’t. I forget that I need God. It leaves me feeling exhausted and stressed.
If you can relate, take a minute and take your worry to God. Acknowledge that you’re weary. And that you need Him. Give Him control. Of it all.
Place your hope in His faithfulness, not in your own striving.
Ask Him for strength and power that only He can provide…not so you can do the big stuff on your own…but so that you can experience His goodness and grace. He gives strength. – Sandi
