I forget just how close God is. Do you? When troubles come, they seem really big and way too close. It is tempting to feel like God is distant, uncaring, or distracted. But His Word says otherwise:
“The Lord is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18
God is bigger and closer than you may think. It doesn’t matter how long it has been since you’ve prayed. Or how good or bad you were yesterday. Or how big the problem is that you are facing today. When you recognize your need for God and call out to Him, He is close.
He is always with you. I pray that you call out to Him. And discover, anew, that He is faithful. And He never leaves. – Sandi
