When you cry, God listens. And He can reach you, wherever you are.
“In my distress I called to the Lord, and He answered me.
From the depths of the grave I called for help, and you listened to my cry.”
Jonah 2:2
It is easy to forget that the people we read about in the Bible were just as fearful and doubtful as we are. That was true of Jonah. He was running away from God. He was in a desperate situation (in the belly of a fish). He cried out to God. And learned a lesson we need to remember. God always hears your cries.
When you’re good. When you’ve turned away. He always hears. And He always responds.
Wherever you are. Whatever you’ve done. Whatever you need…cry out to God. There is no place you can go that God can’t hear you or find you. He stands ready to listen and to help. – Sandi
