When heartache is close, it can feel like God is distant. The hurt and pain seem to overshadow everything else. You may be tempted to think that God has abandoned you when you need Him most.
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:15
There are four promises. All are truthful.
Our hearts will be broken. We will feel crushed to our core.
The Lord is close. He always saves.
Heartache comes to us all…we live in a broken world. And at times it feels crushing.
God not only understands, but He moves in even closer when our hearts need Him most. To comfort. To bring peace into chaos. He is present. Crying with you. And tending to you.
May you experience His presence today in a way that reminds you, and your pain, that God is faithful. The heartache doesn’t get the last word. He will tend to your crushed soul. – Sandi
