"You Are The God Who Sees Me…I Have Now Seen The One Who Sees Me"

“You are the God who sees me.”  Every time I encounter that scripture, it hits me. God sees. Me. And you.

Have you ever had a conversation with someone and their eyes keep wandering? They have a difficult time looking you in the eye. You get the feeling that they’re distracted. And just not that into you.

That’s not God.

His gaze, attention and affection are always on you.

He sees you. Not just the outward stuff. He knows your heart. Your dreams. Your doubts. He knows the you that He created you to be. And He simply can’t take His eyes off of you.

What do you do with that kind of love?

You look back at Him. And don’t take your eyes off of Him.  Then you, like the woman in the story in scripture will say,
“I have now seen the One who sees me.”  (Genesis 16:13)

When you realize you are fully known and loved. It releases you to fully love Him and others well. – Sandi
