God isn’t stingy. He freely gives what we need the most: Grace. Love. Forgiveness.
Then, He calls us to do the same…Give our lives and love away.
“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts. 20:35
On the surface that doesn’t ring true. Because it is so much easier to get something than to give it away. Giving can feel unfair or like it is a releasing of control. Giving requires faith. It says, “I trust you, God, with this more than I want to hold on to it.”
I think that is why there is a blessing in giving. God blesses your faith and surrender in action.
You can trust God with everything that He is inviting you to let go of. You don’t have to cling or fret. He is trustworthy and He promises to bless your generosity.
When you give your love and life away, your heart looks like Jesus. That is the blessing. – Sandi
