Jesus can turn everything around. I need that reminder because I can often place more trust in what I see or feel than in the risen Son of God.
“Fill the jars with water,” Jesus said. So, the servants filled them to the brim.
Then Jesus told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”
John 2:7-8
Everyone at the wedding knew that the wine was gone. Were the guests disappointed? Was the host embarrassed? I don’t know. But the fact was, there wasn’t enough.
And when everyone saw the water go into the jars, they were about to learn that Jesus is…enough. Because when Jesus turned the water into wine, He was letting everyone there get a glimpse into who He was. The Son of God.
Do you need that reminder today? That, regardless of what you see or feel, Jesus is with you. He’s capable of changing things. He is the Son of God. And you can trust Him with your disappointment and need. He is faithful. Still. – Sandi
