I remember going to the jewelry store and buying ID bracelets when I was in Jr. High. That’s what you did when you were in LOVE! You would have your name engraved on it, then give it to your boyfriend who would proudly wear it for ……….. days! I know I bought 3 or 4 before I realized that I couldn’t afford to be in love!
“I have engraved you on the palms of my hands….those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” Isaiah 49:16,23
Isn’t that a beautiful picture? God’s love is so deep and permanent that it’s as if we are engraved on His hands.
His love doesn’t fade with time. He doesn’t have a crush on you. He says, “I know you. I love you. Always and Forever.
Jesus’ hands have scars because He loves you. God has your name engraved on his hands because He loves you. You can trust His love. You can hope in His love. And you will not be disappointed.
