UrbanReachSTL is entering our 10th summer providing 8 weeks of Bible Club for children and youth living in public housing in Columbus Square/Cochran community (free). The most beautiful part of summer is watching our amazing volunteers engage with the children. Over 1,500 volunteers have poured themselves out for kids who need extra love and attention. Whether it’s putting kids on shoulders, tossing the football, or making bracelets – it all matters. In a community often overshadowed by violence, you bring light and joy for an entire summer, transforming the atmosphere of the neighborhood.
This is a perfect opportunity for high school age volunteers and youth groups, and we expect your team to leave with a deeper understanding of those who live in hard places and God’s pursuit of them.
We are excited and expectant to see what the Lord will do through our teams this coming summer. We can’t do this work without you!
