“How do you know that Jesus is real?” I was asked that question recently. I felt the pressure of giving the “right” answer. But then I said the first thing that came to mind: “I know that Jesus is real because I met Him when I was 17. I cried out to Him, and He changed my heart and my life. And I am not who I was before I met Him.”
“O God, I called to you for help, and you healed me…weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:2,5
Jesus isn’t merely a storybook character. He is alive. And He makes himself available to us. He allows us to know Him.
If you don’t yet know Jesus, ask Him to reveal himself to you. He will. Again and again.
If you already know Him but are in a difficult season, don’t lose hope. Joy and rejoicing will come. He will restore. – Sandi
