But. God. Two of my favorite words because they remind my heart that He is here, and He isn’t finished yet.
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed;
perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned…”
2 Corinthians 4:8-9
Notice how many times that verse said… “but?” There is the truth of your difficult situation. BUT there is the very real “God factor.”
He promises that He is with you. He will never leave you to carry the weight on your own. And He will never allow it to crush you. Whatever you’re facing today may be incredibly difficult. But. God. Right now, right here, in the middle of the trial, He is your hope, peace and comfort.
He’s close. He’s working. And He gets the last word. – Sandi
