When you feel the heat of battle, it is easy to fixate on the size of the enemy. Discouragement comes and you feel defeated. Here is a battlefield reminder: This isn’t a fair fight…because God is on your side.
“You come against me with sword and spear, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty…” 1 Samuel 17: 45
We all know what David did while facing his giant. But it is what he said that is the battle cry for us today.
God is on your side. When the big, the bad and the overwhelming is standing right in front of you, you’re not alone or overshadowed. The Lord Almighty is with you. Remind your fearful heart of that truth today. Remind the enemy of his standing. And cling to the strong name of Jesus. His name, alone, is a weapon against the schemes of the enemy.
