How often do you look up? For me, it’s not enough. I’ve noticed that I look…. A lot. I look at my phone. I look to other people. I look in the mirror. And on too few occasions, I look up.
“Is any one of you in trouble? Pray. Is anyone happy? Sing songs of praise.” James 5:13
This verse reminds me to look up. Always. When my heart is troubled. When everything is going great…Look up. Continually.
It seems like I forget. To seek Him. To thank Him. To pray and to praise. To seek His way over my own. To value His thoughts and Words more than popular opinion. But when I look up, my perspective changes. I see more. I trust more.
