Have you ever gotten to the point where you don’t want to pray? You’re not sure anyone’s listening. And you’re not sure you even know what to say? God hears your heart.
“In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God…He heard my voice; my cry came to His ears.” 2 Samuel 22:7
It isn’t the words of your prayers that matter. It is the One who hears them. When you cry out to God, using words or not, He hears you. He hurts alongside you. God is close to the brokenhearted and He won’t abandon you or turn a deaf ear to your cries.
Whether it feels like it or not. Whether an answer comes quickly or not, you can trust in the God who hears your prayers. He cares. He’s close. And He responds when you cry out to Him.
