Do you say things to yourself that you would never say to anyone else? The unkind or the untrue? Me too. Here is something you can say to yourself that is truthful and good for your heart to remember.
“You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.”
Psalm 139: 13-14
If that sounds “clunky” and even difficult to believe, then your heart is craving the truth of God’s love. His love for you preceded your first breath. His plans for you were known before you were born. Every detail was intentionally and lovingly created by your Heavenly Father.
May God work that truth deep in to your heart today so that you know it fully. And may it be the lens through which we not only see ourselves, but everyone else that we encounter today. – Sandi
