When anxious thoughts start to win the battle in my mind, I come back to this one question: What if God is faithful?
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10: 23
Every time I read that verse, a picture comes to mind. God is holding one end of a rope. I’m holding the other. His grip never changes. It is strong and steady. When I feel like I’m losing my grip, He puts his hand over mine and won’t let me let go.
He is faithful. To hold on. And to help us hold on.
Your hope in Jesus is well placed. Keep holding on. And when your strength is gone, trust that He is still holding on. He is. Because, He is faithful. – Sandi
