When God looks at you, what does He see? Probably more than you can imagine. He not only sees you, but He recognizes His power at work in your life.
“The Lord is with you, mighty warrior… But Lord…my clan is the weakest…and I am the least in my family. The Lord answered, I will be with you…” Judges 6:12-16
When God looked at Gideon, He saw a warrior. Gideon didn’t see it.
Can you relate? You fixate on your failures, flaws and weaknesses. You’re really good at feeling really bad about yourself…but what if that isn’t the truth?
God doesn’t want you to have an inflated opinion of yourself. He does want you to trust Him when He invites us into something that seems to be too big for you. It may be. But God is with you. He is mighty and you can trust Him.
